In 2004, the Intercisa Museum uncovered part of an Early and Middle Bronze Age cemetery at the Kisapostag bridgehead of the Danube bridge of the M8 Motorway. Two Early Bronze Age urns from the site are decorated with a design of various incised motifs. Over thirty years have elapsed since Rózsa Schreiber published her comprehensive overview and assessment of similar depictions in Archaeologiai Értesítő. These new finds differ from the earlier ones in several respects, offering an excellent opportunity for revisiting earlier theories.
