Absztrakt

Az akut has életet veszélyeztető állapot, amelynek azonnali helyes megítélése, diagnózisa és kezelése mind a mai napig komoly kihívást jelent a műtéti szakmában. A szerzők célul tűzték ki négy akut beteg diagnosztikai nehézséget okozó kórképének a bemutatását, amiket nagyméretű benignus ovariumtumorok okoztak. A benignus ovariumtumorok döntő többsége véletlenül kerül felismerésre, például más okból elvégzett kismedencei fizikális vagy képalkotó vizsgálat, egyéb okból végzett hasi műtétek során. Gyakran akut hasi tüneteket okoznak. A kórtörténet, a fizikális vizsgálat és a képalkotó eljárások eredményei sem vezetnek el mindig a pontos diagnózishoz. A szerzők a hasi feltárás során jutottak el a betegség pontos felismeréséhez, s ez után tudták a megfelelő műtétet elvégezni. A műtétet követően mind a négy beteg gyógyultan távozott a kórházból.
