Abstract

The temperature distributions of the crude oil in the seabed pipeline is important for its operation, and the application of the traditional finite element method and curvelet transform on its temperature are described in this study. First, the basic theories of the curvelet transform are analyzed. Second, the finite element model of the crude oil in the seabed pipeline based on curvelet transform is constructed. Third, the computing model of the crude oil in the seabed pipeline is established, and then the temperature changing rules of the crude oil in the seabed pipeline are obtained. The results show that the method of combining traditional finite element method and curvelet transform is more efficient than the traditional finite element method with ANSYS software, and the solidification time of the crude oil in the seabed pipeline is obtained. Finally, the effect of the insulation layer on the solidification time is analyzed.
