Abstract  

Experimental heats of mixing ΔmixH at 303.15 K and normal atmospheric pressure were obtained for the binary mixtures cyclohexanone+(1,2-dichloroethane, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane,1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane or pentachloroethane), using a Calvet microcalorimeter. The ΔmixH values for all the mixtures were negative, indicated that important interaction occur between the ketoxy group and chloroalcane.
