Az implantátumbehelyezéssel történő emlőnagyobbítás évtizedek óta az egyik leggyakrabban végzett esztétikai plasztikai sebészeti beavatkozás. Az életkor előrehaladtával a több millió implantált egyre nagyobb arányban kerül az emlőrákra veszélyeztetett korcsoportba, így a jövőben az implantált emlőben kialakuló rosszindulatú daganat klinikai megjelenése gyakoribbá válik. Bár az implantátum nem áll összefüggésben a tumor kialakulásával, az ilyen esetek számos különleges megfontolást igényelnek a diagnosztikában, a terápiában és az utánkövetésben. Az implantátummal megnagyobbított emlő daganatainak szakszerű, a modern onkoplasztikus elveknek megfelelő multidiszciplináris ellátása csak a megfelelő onkológiai, emlő- és plasztikai sebészeti ismeretek alapján lehetséges. Közleményünkben a hazánkban is várhatóan gyakrabban előforduló speciális onkológiai és esztétikai állapot szakirodalmának széles körű áttekintését folytatjuk, először magyar nyelven. Orv.
