Az autológ zsírátültetés az esztétikai plasztikai sebészetben gyakran alkalmazott eljárás, ami az utóbbi időben az onkológiai sebészeti beavatkozásokat követő lágyrész-hiányok rekonstrukciójában is egyre népszerűbb. A zsírátültetés máig nem standardizált technikája a daganatos emlő rekonstrukciós sebészetében is rohamosan teret nyer. Figyelembe kell azonban venni, hogy az eljárás nem passzív térfogatpótlás, hanem biológialag aktív, endokrin, parakrin, exokrin funkcióval bíró szövet átültetését jelenti, úgynevezett zsíreredetű őssejtekkel, számos kérdést felvetve az onkológiai biztonsággal és az alapbetegség diagnosztikus utánkövetésével kapcsolatban. Bár a módszerről prospektív, randomizált vizsgálatokon alapuló, hosszú távú eredmények nem állnak rendelkezésre, az irodalmi tapasztalatok reménykeltőek, és megfelelő indikációval, valamint technikával hatásos és sebészeti szempontból biztonságos eljárásról árulkodnak. A szerzők széles körű irodalmi áttekintést nyújtanak, először magyar nyelven, az emlőrák rekonstrukciós sebészetében alkalmazott autológ zsírátültetés indikációit, technikáját, molekuláris kölcsönhatásait, klinikai eredményeit és potenciális veszélyeit is bemutatva. Kezdeményezik továbbá, hogy az autológ zsírátültetéssel rekonstruált emlőrákos esetek megfelelő hosszú távú utánkövetését nemzeti regiszter létrehozásával segítsék elő a beavatkozást végzők. Orv.
