A hypertrophiás cardiomyopathia genetikailag öröklődő, nem túl ritka kardiológiai megbetegedés, amely legtöbbször az interventricularis septum hemodinamikai okokkal nem magyarázható aszimmetrikus megvastagodásával, hypertrophiájával jár együtt.
