Bevezetés: Az országos kiterjedésű, szervezett emlőszűrési program 2002 januárjában indult el Magyarországon a 45–65 év közötti nők számára 2 éves szűrési intervallummal. Célkitűzés: A dolgozat célja a szervezett országos emlőszűrési program 2008–2009. évi részvételi mutatóinak meghatározása. Módszer: Az elemzésben szereplő adatok az Országos Egészségbiztosítási Pénztár finanszírozási adatbázisából származnak. A 45–65 éves nők körében meghatározásra került azok aránya, akik a program 4. ciklusában (2008–2009) akár szűrési, akár diagnosztikai célú képalkotó emlővizsgálaton vettek részt. Eredmények: A szűrési célú képalkotó emlőfelvételen részt vettek aránya (átszűrtség) a 2000–2001-es 7,6%-ról a 2008–2009-es szervezett emlőszűrési ciklusban 31,2%-ra emelkedett. A diagnosztikus célú képalkotó emlőfelvételen részt vettek aránya (átvizsgáltság) pedig ugyanezen időszakokban 20,2%-ról 20,4%-ra (2008–2009) nőtt. Az országos lefedettség (átszűrtség + átvizsgáltság) ennek megfelelően a szervezett szűrés hatására 26,6%-ról (2000–2001) 50,1%-ra (2008–2009) nőtt a 45–65 év közötti nők esetében. A részvételi arány 2002–2009 között stagnált. Következtetések: Az emlőrák miatti halálozás érdemi csökkentéséhez az emlőszűrési program részvételi arányainak emelése szükséges. Orv.
