Az egyik kevésbé jól dokumentált, potenciálisan módosítható stroke-kockázati faktor az obstruktív alvási apnoe szindróma. Obstruktív alvási apnoe jelenléte esetén nő a cardiovascularis morbiditás és mortalitás, ezen belül a stroke-kockázat is. Jelen közleményben a szerző azokat a patofiziológiai tényezőket foglalja össze, amelyek növelik a stroke-kockázatot alvási apnoe jelenléte esetén. Orv. Hetil., 2014, 155(16), 615–619.
