Aging as most of the processes in the organism’s life is under genetic control. In the recent decade a handful of genes have become known that are involved in this process. Understanding how they work may reveal the keys to longer life while banishing diseases of old age. The aim of this paper is to give a view about the researches which have been made in the battle to extend the human lifespan.
