The preparation of99mTc-Sn-DOTA,99mTc-Sn-DDDTA and99mTc-Sn-DHDTA is described. The labelling efficiency of all samples was checked by paper chromatography, thin layer chromatography and paper electrophoresis. Preliminary results of the biodistribution studies performed in white rats are given.

In this paper, the labeling characteristics and biological behavior of five aminopolycarboxylic acid derivatives have been studied: N-(phosphonomethyl) nitrilodiacetic acid (99mTc-MPIDA), N,N-(diphosphono) aminoacetic acid (99mTc-GDP), N-(2-carbamoylethyl) nitrilodiacetic acid (99mTc-KEIDA), N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl) nitrilodiacetic acid (99mTc-DPKA), 2-[N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N-carboxymethyl] aminopropanoic acid (99mTc-EAPA).

Biodistribution of EDTA derivatives99mTc-Sn-DOTA, DDDTA, DHDTA /1,2-dinitriloalkane-tetraacetic acids/ individually and bound to liposome in rats is described. The obtained results are compared with99mTc-Sn-EDTA.

The preparation of N1-(octadecylcarbomyl-methy)-ethylenediaminetriacetic acid labelled with99mTc is described. Reduction of technetium was made using sodium borohydride (procedure A) or stannous chloride (procedure B), and the labelling efficiency was checked by thin layer chromatography. Preliminary studies of biol-behavior of this complex were performed in white rats.

The preparation of99mTc-Sn-EBV and99mTC-Sn-EBA is described. Different parameters affecting the labeling efficiency (ligand concentration, pH, molar ligand: reducing agent ratio) as well as the time-dependent stability of labeled compounds were investigated. Preliminary biodistribution studies in Wistar rats showed accumulation of the above mentioned compounds in kidneys.
