Abstract  

Our investigations have shown the perspectives of pyrometallurgical methods in activation analysis based on metal extraction (ME). The technique of rapid micromelting (MM) not requiring special equipment has been developed. It has been shown that in non-mixed liquid metal-molten salt systems different elements such as noble, rare and dispersed ones can be quantitatively extracted from geological samples to be analyzed into metal collectors (bismuth, lead, tin, copper, iron, etc.). The same meltings have been supposed for extraction into the ionic salt melts of the impurity elements from the analyzed metals.
