catalyzed by HPAs have been paid a lot of efforts [ 6 – 8 ]. However, there are few literature reports about the acylation of polyaromatics in HPAs [ 8 ]. To the best of our knowledge, no acylation of acenaphthene catalyzed by HPAs has been reported
synthesized according to the literature method [ 29 ]. Spherical gold colloidal nanoparticles with an average diameter of about 6 nm were prepared following a published procedure [ 30 ]. Seven mg nanosilica was stirred in the mixed solution of 100 mL
shown in Fig. 1 . XRD results indicate that metal containing MCM-41 catalysts synthesized in this study are highly crystalline. The XRD patterns are matching with the MCM-41 reported in the literature. Four distinct Bragg peaks that can be indexed as
from the literature [ 21 ]. The key procedure is as follows: some amount of 0.1 mol/L Cs 2 CO 3 aqueous solution is dropped into 0.1 mol/L H 3 PW 12 O 40 (H 3 PW in short) aqueous solution. The resulting solution is stirred for 30 min, then heated to
sample adsorbed NH 3 with an initial heat of 178 kJ mol −1 , comparable to bulk WO 3 (around 175 kJ mol −1 ) as reported in the literature Ref. [ 29 ]. Depending on their preparative procedures zirconia samples can display very different adsorption
catalyst, the redox process kinetics can be studied by plotting F(R) versus time for different temperatures at a proper constant wavelength. The wavelength of 620 nm was chosen based on literature data [ 16 , 17 ] and some reduction tests were carried out
and the support generated by the preparation method (ion exchange). With respect to the TPR test, the diagram presented two major peaks of H 2 consumption: one at 523 K and the other at 723 K, in agreement with the literature information [ 24
cis -[Ru(NH 3 ) 4 (H 2 O) 2 ](tfms) 3 were prepared according to the literature procedure [ 17 ]. The diacid monomer 7-oxanorbornene derivative was obtained from the hydrolysis of the exo -3,6-epoxy-1,2,3,6-tetrahyddrophthalic anhydride (Aldrich) in
– 20 ) for N 2 and H 2 O formation, we follow one of the lines already accepted in the literature. As noted in the “ Introduction ” section, such steps were earlier proposed for Fe-ZSM-5, Cu-ZSM-5, and
conversion can be neglected in the range of temperature we tested. According to the literature [ 26 , 27 ], the enhanced activity of the Pd/FeAlPO-5 zeolites can be ascribed to the synergic effect between noble metal and iron species. Shen et al. have
