Summary

The Bavarian sculptor Anton Kirchmayer (1776–1809) was known until now only on the basis of his facade reliefs and of the fountain figure for the Sándor Palace in Buda, made in 1806. In this study the author adds to his oeuvre the models of the figures of Amor and Psyche made for the Porcelain Manufacture of Nymphenburg in 1802, after finishing his studies at the Vienna Academy.
