Abstract  

The control of the alcoholic fermentation is necessary to obtain a wine having good organoleptic properties. Our study consists in applying the overall dynamical and phenomenological modelling to this kind of reaction suggesting however hypothesis concerning kinetic laws (order zero and order one). The first proposed models are not perfect but they allowed us to access certain chemical parameters such as the reaction enthalpy. Our aim is to determine a model of simple state (for its application) to allow the conception of the alcoholic fermentation reaction of a real-time command.

Abstract  

The binary system H2O—UO2(NO3)2 was studied by solubility measurements and constant heat flow thermal analysis. Temperature and composition of the eutectic transformation between ice and uranyl nitrate hexahydrate were accurately defined. A new hydrate with 24 molecules of water decomposes at –21°C according to the peritectoid reaction<UO2(NO3)2·24H2O> <UO2(NO3)2·6H2O> + 18<H2O>The quasi-ideal model was applied to the solid—liquid equilibria, using the following reaction hypothesis:((UO 2 2+ )) + 2((NO 3 ))+ h((H2O)) ((UO2OH+aq)) + ((H3O+aq + 2((NO 3 aq))A complete calculation of the binary system was carried out with a global ionic hydration number h equal to 9 in the aqueous solutions. It allowed to the melting enthalpies of uranyl nitrate hydrates.

Abstract  

A program has been written to describe solubility surfaces of the polythermal ternary phase diagram Mg(NO3)2–Al(NO3)3–H2O, using the model proposed by Cohen-Adad et al. [2]. In this work we present the calculation of the solubility surface of Mg(NO3)26H2O and Al(NO3)39H2O in the phase diagram. The calculated isothermal sections are in a good agreement with experimental determinations. Coefficients of the fitting equation that describes the solubility field allow drawing any isothermal section. The monovariant line was also calculated. The chosen model is well adapted to calculations of these solubility surfaces and gives very good results.
