Abstract  

Moroccan phosphate ores have important phosphate reserves, thus makes possible to distinguish three main layers: submittal, principal and basal. A characterization of the ore was carried out to determine the mineralogical and chemical characteristics. Thermal analysis, infrared and NMR techniques were used to study the thermal and structure behaviors of the organic matter in Moroccan phosphate from Bengurir. The TG analysis showed that the investigated mineral exhibited 7 mass% as total mass loss. The calcination-separation enrichment of carbonate-phosphorite ores from Bengurir region (Morocco) has been studied.

Does the legal system have a structure (according to sources and branches of law, general and special parts of codes, principles, rules and exceptions in regulation, etc.), or structuring is taken into it from the outside? And providing that it is taken, whoever is taking it? For neither principles, nor rules are given in themselves, separated from each other in a way classified in terms of the law's taxonomic systemicity as bearing their own separate meaning. All this can be but the result of a constitutive act. Based upon legal doctrines, it is judicial practice that builds different propositions into either principles or rules. Or, it is not logic itself that labels anything as a structuring element identified as either principle or rule but we, who ponder the mode of how to construct a sequence of distinction, deduction and justification conclusive enough to convince those controlling the issue we propose in the procedural hierarchy. Therefore the structuring features in law are construed and construing, constructed and constructing at the same time, for they do not and cannot exist in and by themselves at all.

Moholy-Nagy felfogása szerint a struktúra meghatározza a textúrát és determinálja a faktúra lehetőségeit. A mai építészet faktúradomináns tendenciáinak esztétikája számára azonban mintha ez az egymásra épülés már nem jelentene semmit. Ma a faktúra az, amiből textúra és struktúra is származtatható, s az anyag legfeljebb a megvalósítás időleges korlátait jelöli ki. Esztétikai értelemben mindez a neoavantgárd festészet és a textilművészet korábbi (egyoldalú) viszonyára emlékeztet, azzal a különbséggel, hogy a mai építészetben, ahol a képzőművészethez hasonlóan az univerzális utópiák dekonstrukciója folyik, már nem elég a puszta esztétikai intenció; filozófiai „belépőre” – kontextusra, reklámszókincsre – is szükség van. S ezt, illetve az ehhez szükséges fogalmakat az építészet elmélete sokszor a legújabb matematikai vagy filozófiai (tér)elméletekben, és többnyire az euklideszi geometrián kívül, véli felfedezni: topológiában, tendológiában, plektikában és másban. Kérdés, hogy az építészet – a konkrét, geometriailag ábrázolt formák megvalósítása esetében – kívül kerülhet-e az euklideszi geometria terén.

Abstract  

Glasses of composition expressed by the following general formula xCaO·(1−x)SiO2 (0.30≤x≤0.50) can be prepared by means of the sol-gel route starting from tetramethylorthosilicate and calcium nitrate tetrahydrate They are all difficult to prepare by means of the traditional technique of quenching the melt, because of the high liquidus temperature,T 1 t that in the case ofx=0.3 glass isT 1=1650°C. The DTA apparatus appears a valuable tool for defining the procedure necessary to obtain the glass through the sol-gel route. The glassx=0.3 is bioactive. The experimental results suggest that the gel structures, such as obtained at room temperature, are very similar; only at high temperature do the reactions of hydrolysis and polycondensation go to completion and the structural units characteristic of each glass are obtained.

Abstract  

The crystal structure, thermal properties and growth rates of spherulites of the Tussah silk fibroin, produced upon drying of the silk taken directly from the lumen which is essentially a poly(L-alanine)polypeptide, are investigated. Depending on casting conditions, spherulites with either αhelical chain conformation or β parallel sheet structure are produced. The growth rates display a strong positive temperature coefficient, with an apparent transition, which however cannot be related with the formation of two different crystal structures at this stage.

Abstract  

The Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter (MDSC) technique, using TA Q1000 instrument, has been applied as a tool to study the reversible and non-reversible heat flow characteristics of a wide range of polyethylenes. It was found that the heat flow characteristic is dependent upon the heating rates and modulation period used in the test. By using a set of standard test conditions, MDSC was found to be useful in studying the effect of previous thermal processing conditions, additive effects, and also the density, MI, type of comonomer, and molecular architecture.
