She also teaches mathematics, English as a foreign language, and mathematics in English in both secondary and tertiary education. Her main interests are alternative assessment methods, such as assessment based on gamification.

Kata Csizér, PhD, works at the Department of English Applied Linguistics, School of English and American Studies, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. Her main field of research interest is the sociopsychological aspects of second-language learning and teaching as well as second- and foreign-language motivation.

Éva Illés teaches at the Department of English Applied Linguistics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. She has a wide range of experience in teaching English and teacher education in both Hungary and Britain. Her research interests include pragmatics, English as a lingua franca, and English language teaching.

Csaba Kálmán, PhD, works at the Department of English Applied Linguistics, School of English and American Studies, at Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary. His research interests include second- and foreign-language motivation, adult education, and corporate language education. He has been running his own business offering a variety of corporate language training and skill courses for over two decades, and has extensive experience as a language teacher and trainer in corporate contexts.

Melinda Mikusová obtained her BA and MA degrees in Teaching of Biology and English language and literature at Selye János University, Komárno. She is currently in her third year of the PhD Programme in Language Pedagogy at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Her primary areas of interest include self-regulated English language learning and educational alternatives and trends.
