Quality of life in diabetes mellitus assessed on the basis of Hungarostudy Health Panel survey

Bevezetés: Az életminőség vizsgálata a krónikus betegségek kezelésében egyre nagyobb jelentőséggel bír. Cél: A szerzők célul tűzték ki, hogy az országosan reprezentatív Hungarostudy Egészség Panel vizsgálat rendelkezésre álló adatbázisának statisztikai feldolgozásával következtetéseket vonjanak le a hazai helyzetre vonatkozóan. Módszerek: A tesztbattériában szereplő három validált kérdőív szolgált mérőeszköznek: a WHO Jól-lét Kérdőív rövidített változata, a Rövidített Beck Depresszió Skála és a Betegségteher Index. Eredmények: A szerzők megállapították, hogy a nemzetközi adatokkal összhangban a hazai cukorbetegek életminőség-mutatói szignifikánsan rosszabbak a nem diabeteses populációhoz viszonyítva. Következtetések: Ugyancsak nemzetközi adatok bizonyítják, hogy az életminőség romlása a cukorbetegek együttműködésének, életkilátásainak romlását vonja maga után. Ezért is van nagy jelentősége a diabetesgondozás terén az életminőséget javító magatartás-orvoslási módszereknek, amelyek ma még nem tekinthetők általánosan elfogadottnak a pszichoedukáció során. Nemzetközi példákra hivatkozással a szerzők javaslatot tesznek validált betegségspecifikus kérdőívekkel végzett átfogó felmérésre hazai cukorbetegek körében és a Transzteoretikus Modell alkalmazására az edukáció hatékonyabbá tétele érdekében.
