A Raynaud-jelenséget az ujjak hideg, illetve pszichés stressz hatására kialakuló vasospasmusa jellemzi, amely az ujjak bőrszínének jellegzetes elszíneződéséhez vezet. A jelenség hátterében a vasoconstrictor és vasodilatator faktorok egyensúlyának megbomlása áll. Megkülönböztetünk primer, illetve a különböző alapbetegségekhez, köztük autoimmun kórállapotokhoz társuló szekunder formát. A diagnózis fizikális, kapillármikroszkópos, képalkotó és immunológiai vizsgálatok alapján állítható fel. A kezelés során alapvető feltétel a hideghatás, az érzelmi stresszhelyzetek és bizonyos gyógyszerek elkerülése. Roham esetén különféle vasodilatatorok, prosztaglandinanalógok, illetve antikoagulánsok lehetnek hatékonyak.
